. We had a butterfly 'cage' that we were able to use. Unfortunately, we never actually saw the crysalis being formed. It felt like we just missed it every time.
Luckily we were able to catch the second one hatch.
Time to release them.

Caterpillars to Butterflies - 8*2012
Carina was so excited to find 6 caterpillars munching away on one of our plants in our flower garden in early August. We found out that they were monarch caterpillars and decided to take a few inside to watch them grow and change.
. We had a butterfly 'cage' that we were able to use. Unfortunately, we never actually saw the crysalis being formed. It felt like we just missed it every time.
Then we missed to first butterfly hatch by a matter of minutes.
Luckily we were able to catch the second one hatch.
Time to release them.
